Biography
Years ago I said a prayer that I might someday write a novel. It was a dream I never thought I’d accomplish. My life was too full of other responsibilities. I put the dream aside for many years, yet with faith and perseverance my first novel Regal Reward [book review] became a reality. If you have a dream, believe in it, pray, be patient through all the twists and turns, and you can accomplish your dream too. Taking care of a home and family and going to school nights took most of my energy. When three of my children were in high school, my daughter Kristin, a teenager at the time, worked with me to help start a teen center in our community. I’m proud to say that the teen center still exists today after 17 years and continues to give teenagers a safe place to go. When my youngest graduated high school, I started my second career as a high school English teacher and a college adjunct teaching literature and speech. Now, 16 years later, I am grateful to have a third career as a writer. It’s never, never too late to accomplish a dream. In January 2007, my first novel Regal Reward was released by Cerridwen Press. Regal Reward is one of the first to be launched as part of Cerridwen's new Regency imprint, Cerridwen Cotillion.Lovers of traditional Regency Romance will be delighted at the launch of this new line. I am a proud member of Romantic Writers of America (RWA) and our local Connecticut chapter, Charter Oak Romance Writers (CORW), a group of hard working, committed writers.
